Wilma Virginia Schlack, 93, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Westminster Canterbury.
Ms. Schlack was born in 1922, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late Anna B. and John W. Schlack. She was a graduate of Stephens City High School, Class of 1940, and the American Institute of Banking. Ms. Schlack was a Teller and Customer Service Assistant with Shenandoah Valley Bank (which became First American Bank). Ms. Schlack was a life-long member of Rest United Methodist Church. She always enjoyed traveling and did so extensively, often accompanied by her close friends and family members.
She is survived by many loving family members and friends.
Wilma’s family would like to thank all of the staff members at Westminster Canterbury who provided the highest level of care and were wonderfully kind to her though the years.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00pm on Thursday, June 2, at the Chapel at Westminster Canterbury, 300 Westminster Canterbury Drive, Winchester, Virginia, with Pastor Elizabeth Lewis and Pastor Thomas Reynolds officiating. Interment will be private.
