William V. Chambers
William “Will” VanMeter Chambers, 49, of Winchester, Virginia died Sunday, January 2, 2011, in his home.
Mr. Chambers was born in Germany in 1961, the son of Dr. Beverly Noe Chambers of Port Angeles, Washington and the late Anne H. Chambers. He was a self employed Horse Trainer, avid fisherman and writer who had recently completed his first novel. He was a graduate of George Mason University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree.
Surviving with his father is his step-mother, Julia “Nancy” Chambers of Port Angeles, Washington; favorite uncle, John Lowell Huffman of Burlington, West Virginia; sister, Myra Ashby Chambers of Norfolk, Virginia; step-brother, Sam Leinbach and his wife, Sara and their daughter, Skye Elizabeth of Fremont, California. His step-sister, Susan Leinbach preceded him in death.
A private graveside service was conducted on Saturday, January 8, 2011, in Burlington, West Virginia.
