So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I worked with Tom at C&P telephone company back in the 70's. I have always had the highest regards of him and remember some of our card games with Dutch Clem at the old farm on Rt. 7 so many years ago. Never was a dull moment when Tom was around. "GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY."

Tom was such a dear friend of Matt's and I was blessed to know him and Donna through that relationship. Tom's speaking voice and laugh were so distinctive. One anniversary meeting, that was held at the War Memorial Building, had a karaoke mike set up. Tom got up and sang and I'm not sure but I think he sang, "To Dream the Impossible Dream" and he had a beautiful singing voice. I was so surprised and delighted by his transformation on stage, and really anytime he shared his story. What a kind, intelligent, good and thoughtful man!

Chuck Carroll left a message on July 23, 2019:
My favorite memory of Tom is when I talked him into joining me on the Shenandoah river fishing out a canoe and him hooking a fish and struggling to reel it in and in his words “I’ve got something huge on the line” When he got it to boat side and pulled it out of the water it was just a small bluegill. (really small) in which he shouted “ THAT’S NOT IT!!!!” Needless to say, but....that WAS it. Rest peacefully Tom.
