William Rhea Adams, of Annapolis, MD, died Saturday, February 1, at the age of 51. Born in 1962 at the U.S. Air Force Hospital in Wiesbaden, Germany, Bill grew up in Arlington, Virginia. He graduated from Yorktown High School and from James Madison University with a degree in Business. Bill was the owner of Eagle Bay Properties, a land development company that he founded and ran successfully for more than fifteen years. He loved being his own boss and having the beautiful mountains of West Virginia and Maryland for his workplace. He was an accomplished sailor, a deep-sea fisherman, a world traveler, an adventurous cook, an avid reader, a hilarious storyteller. He was a loyal and generous friend, and a loving son and brother.
Bill is survived by his parents Captain Robert Edgar Adams and Ruth Elizabeth Adams; by his siblings Abigail Elizabeth Adams (husband, Christopher Corcoran, daughter, Rachel Corcoran Adams, son, Aaron Corcoran Adams), Robert Edgar Adams, Jr. (wife, Nancy Joseph-Adams, daughters, Elise and Carinne Adams), and Katherine Ann Adams (partner, Nathan Halverson); and by his many many friends.
