William “Bill” Loam Wilder, 65, of Lake Frederick, Virginia passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 14, 2018, at his home.
Bill was born in 1952 in Montgomery County, Maryland, the son of the late James and Margaret Wilder. He graduated from University of Maryland, Class of 1974, earning a Master’s degree. Bill was a Project Manager with FEMA. He enjoyed reading, working on ship board systems, and architecture graphics. Bill had a strong work ethic and was a workaholic. He possessed a passion for Doctors Without Borders and many international humanitarian organizations.
He married Linda Robbins on April 17, 1999 in Westminster, Maryland.
Surviving with his wife is a brother, James A. Wilder, Jr. and wife, Diane of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
A celebration of life reception will be at 11 am on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
