William “Larry” Lawrence Etheridge, 60, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on April 22, 2026, at his residence.
Born on March 16, 1966, in Florida, he was the son of the late Wilmer Dwight Etheridge and Marlene (Gailey) Etheridge.
Larry dedicated much of his life to his work as a custodian with Valley Health in Winchester, where he faithfully served for over 30 years. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and quiet dedication.
A man of Christian faith, Larry had a deep appreciation for history and enjoyed spending time as a historian in his own right. He also found great companionship in his beloved cat, “Fat Cat,” who brought him comfort and joy.
Larry proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, a commitment that reflected his sense of duty and patriotism.
He is survived by his sister, Cheryl Johnson of Oregon and his aunt, Jean Tucker of Winchester.
