William J. Andrews

        William “Billy” John Andrews, 51, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Andrews was born in 1962, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Gloria Andrews and the late Terence John Andrews.  He was a steel worker with Champion Iron Works. Billy was an avid Washington Redskins fan and was devoted to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He married Denise Whetzel on June 14, 1980, in Fairfax, Virginia.

Surviving with his wife and mother, is his daughter, Chastity Denise Morales of Sterling, Virginia; son, Jeremiah John Andrews of San Antonio, Texas, three grandchildren; Santos, William and Makyla; sisters, Diana Floyd and husband, Charlie, of Linden, Virginia, Daphne Feliu and husband, Alex, of Charles Town, West Virginia; brothers, Terence Philip Andrews of Leesburg, Virginia, and Robert Bruce Andrews of Winchester.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Funeral Celebrant Joseph Dilleree will be officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o Denise Andrews, 1600 Amherst Street, Winchester Virginia 22601.
