William “Bill” I. Mullins, 79, of White Post, Virginia passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Mullins was born in 1937 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, the son of the late Leonard Marcum and Eva (Mullins) Robinson. He was a self employed contractor. Bill was a professional musician, playing lead guitar. He loved working, building things, and enjoyed eating at Cracker Barrel.
Bill married Anita L. Fisher on August 16, 1973 in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Surviving with his beloved wife of 43 years are daughters, Debra Bulloch, Teresa Thacker (Will) and Crystal Whitacre (Robert); sons, Danny Mullins (Sue) and Travis Mullins (Lisa); sister, Rose Dawson; brothers, J.B. Newman and Arlie Newman; 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by son-in-law, Mark Bulloch; sister, Betty Jo Ramey; brothers, Roy Lee, Claude, and Harold Newman.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with a Celebration of Life at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
