William H. Lemarr
William “Bill” Hubert Lemarr, age 61, of Middletown, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, in Chippenham Hospital, Richmond, Virginia.
Mr. Lemarr was born in Leesburg, Virginia, in 1953, the son of the late Clifton E. and Betty M. Lemarr. He was a truck driver working for the family business of Lemarr Trucking for over 40 years and most recently for Bramhall Trucking. Bill was a one of kind individual who will be forever remembered for his love of family and friends. He was devoted to caring for and being with his family and friends and especially enjoyed attending the local fairs, eating at local restaurants and enjoyed listening to country music. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, his friends said “you could always count on him having your back”.
He is survived by a sister, Jo Ann Lemarr Williams of Winchester, VA and two brothers, Clifton Eugene Lemarr, Jr. and wife, Doris Jane, of Winchester, VA, Robert L. Lemarr and girlfriend, Linda Reed, of Middletown, VA, and his best friend since childhood; Frank Buttery of Leesburg, VA as well as a nephews Shane M. Lemarr, Gene Lemarr and Chris Lemarr as well as many other extended family and close friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Pastor Larry Nelson officiating.
The family will gather at the conclusion of the service at Rainbow Road Bar and Grill, Route 340 South, Charles Town, West Virginia 25446.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Omps Funeral Home, 1600 Amherst Street, Winchester, VA 22601 to assist with funeral expenses.
