It’s at a time like this that I can recall a little line from an old country or bluegrass song that went something like this ( Now God doesn’t give us to each other, not even by a hundred thousand miles, but he feels that we need some sunshine so he lends us for just a little while, and he lets us love and keep it till our hearts are bigger grown, and so now these tears that we are shedding here, well, they are the interest on that loan…

We didn’t get the opportunity to know Bill as well as we would’ve liked because we didn’t live close enough. However, there are some things that really stand out in my mind about Bill: f irst and foremost was the twinkle in his eyes. Even when he was being serious, his eyes sparkled. He’d love to tease Valerie and I truly think she was the love of his life. The day, he asked my husband for her hand in marriage. He said “I may never have much, but I will always love her forever.” and he’s proved this , by not only taking Valerie as his wife, but also taking on the responsibility of three small children. I truly think he love these children as his own and would do anything he could for them. In fact, Bill would do anything for anyone who needed it if it was all possible for him to do so. He was a kind and generous man. He loved the outdoors ,as has been said before, but the one time he came to Colorado and stayed at our house I got to see just how much he enjoyed the wildlife. He and Valerie actually got a little lost while walking. Valerie was worried they would set off the alarm. But Bill took care of it Our family likes to play board games. I hold Bill responsible for finally getting Valerie to want to play them. Our family has a tendency to be a very emotional family. He was the levelheaded one who calmed us all. He will be missed.

Even though I won't be able to be there tomorrow, know that I will be thinking of you. You were one of the kindest souls I ever knew. As long as I've know you, I can not EVER remember you even raising your voice. Know I have done enough for both of use since your untimely departure. I know you were welcomed with open arms when you arrived in heaven. May God bless you brother and your family and friends as we grieve. Until I see you again, keep it between the lines.

Tinker, we've had good days and bad days, but in the end we still loved each other. I know that putting up me wasn't easy and at times we were at each other's throats. We had, have and will continue to have the best family ever. You will always be with us just like Daddy, JudyAnn, grandma, grandaddy, Nanny and Dyie. You will be missed and I'll still argue with you when I'm pissed that you left us way to soon. I never dreamed in a 100 tears that you would be the first to go of all my brothers. You were always the safest in all you did, driving, trucking, being around family you weren't one to ever raise your voice or have anything negative about your friends or our parents. You respected all even though some people treat you like shit, and believe me I seen it when they did. That's were we argued the most. In all we've been through, just remember you will always be my big brother Love ya, Sissy

This is a tough time for sure, things like this shouldn’t happen, but God knows the best, I often think about the times we had growing up, going to truck pulls, and mud bogs, and in school the FFA, it seems that our family is shrinking each and every year, I had just told Tinker that the last time I saw him, I will miss him alot, I think back to when we would run around with Steve and Clay , those were a wild bunch, I want to send all my heart and prayers out to you all, much love to you… Willie.
