Our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. I, Donna, put a blanket on your husband and stood praying over him along with another young lady. I truly feel he could hear our prayers. I told him to call upon Jesus and I prayed for him to be saved. He was bathed in prayer as he was entering eternity. I continue to pray for comfort for you all. God bless you.

My heart goes out to all of you at this time. Wes was a good friend to me and to everyone he knew. He will be forever missed. May you draw on each other to get thru this difficult time and love one another more today than yesterday. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us that is why is so important to make sure you tell the ones you love every time you see them. Take the time to say it and another second to give a hug just in case tomorrow never comes. Love to all of you

To family and friends of Mr. Helsley, I realize I am late in posting this, but I just found this wall and wanted to leave a note. I was there praying with Donna (who also left a note here) when Mr. Helsley passed away. It was a sad moment, a tragic one, and one I will remember for the rest of my life. But there was also an element of peace, a raw sense of humanity and our need for the community in which we live. I had the privilege of meeting some coworkers of his, and when they thanked me I could only say that I would hope, should the situation have been reversed, someone would have done the same for me. I was assured he would have, and though I didn't have the chance to get to know him I don't doubt it. We, the community, mourn his loss and stand with you. We share your tears, your pain. Not to the extent that you feel it, but we feel it too. It has been over a month, and still not a day goes by that I don't remember the accident. I can say without question that it has changed my life. I can't imagine how much more the sorrow and grief you–his family and friends–endure. I've made it a habit to pray for you every time I pass by the scene of the accident, which is nearly every day, multiple times a day, on my way to work. I want you to know that your pain is not forgotten! I believe Jesus knows and sees, and I have not forgotten and will not forget you either. I will not forget the kind face that showed me a glimpse of eternity and reminded me of a hope and assurance of the life beyond the one in which we live. My heart and prayers are with you all, Victoria
