Oh the memories I have. From being young and making capsules in peanut jars and burying them in our Grandparents yard. Making maps so we could find them the next summer I was back in VA. To riding our one banana seat bicycle endlessly, but always willing to share. To being funny and jamming out to the Go Go's in Aunt Sharon's basement at the top of our lungs! To being at your amazing wedding. I looked up to you for finding the love of your life. To become a Mother. You were soooo excited and happy!! To us watching our kids play together at my Dad's house and having deep conversations. It reminded me that no matter the distance, family will always be close. I love you!! Rest now and now and the an angel above to your two babies!!

I have a ton of great memories with Wendy as we grew up. One was having the treasure hunts at our Grandparents house. We made time capsules every summer and would bury them in the yard. We made maps to find them the following summer when I came to visit VA. Riding freelessly on our banana seat bike that we had to share, making videos for Granddad of plays, singing and dancing goofy. As we got older we were sooo into the Go Go's and would sing their songs at the top of our lungs over and over in Aunt Sharon's basement. As adults, I witnessed her beautiful marriage to Casey. They were a perfect match and I hoped that one day I would find a love like they had. With her becoming a Mother....I never saw someone so happy!! Both her and Casey were amazing parents. Being able to see her kids and my kids play together at my Dad's home, and being able to talk so openly with her, just reminded me that family is always there no matter the distance. I love you to the moon and back. Rest now sweetheart and be your babies angel from above protecting them. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Our hearts and prayers go out to Sharon, Christina, Ella and Eli for the loss of this beautiful daughter, sister and mother. Wendi always had a wonderful smile and a hug for us from the time she was a little girl right up to her last few days. She was so sweet and caring and has always held a special spot in our family's heart and always will. May she rest in peace knowing how many lives she has touched in her short time here just by being Wendi and how loved she was.

Wendi was a gift. She had a beautiful spirit with everyone she met - and she cared for everyone! She was a wonderful mother who cared deeply for her two wonderful children. She made me a better person and I'm thankful to have had her in life. I asked my girls on Monday how they would describe her and they said, "kind, sweet, fun, nice, she brings us cupcakes, and she loves us!" Kids always speak the truth.
