Wayne R. “Popeye” Hedrick

Wayne Randolph “Popeye” Hedrick, 59, of Stephenson, Virginia, died Monday, March 14, 2011 in his home.

Mr. Hedrick was born in 1952, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Melvin Harlan Hedrick and the late Juanita Virginia Hedrick. Mr. Hedrick was a carpenter and hung drywall.

Surviving with his father, of Charlestown, West Virginia, are four brothers, David Hedrick of Clearbrook, Reginald Hedrick of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Allan Hedrick and Ronald Hedrick both of Winchester; one daughter, and his companion, Susan Rohrabaugh. One son Wayne Hedrick preceded him in death.

All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel will be private.
