Wayne Douglas Anderson, 72 of Clear Brook, VA, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Winchester Medical Center.

Wayne was born in 1952 in Winchester, VA, the son of the late Ralph and Kathleen Anderson. He attended James Wood High School and retired as Foreman for Perry Engineering. Wayne loved hunting, football and playing poker. He was also an avid antique collector. Wayne was very involved with the Frederick County Fair as a volunteer.

He is survived by his wife, Michele Renee whom he married on December 17, 1993; children, Rhonda Anderson of Savannah, GA, Amy Campbell (Kevin) of Winchester, VA, Kevin Dwayne Anderson (Lindy) of Clear Brook, VA and Christopher Wayne Anderson (Lesa) of Hubert, NC; grandchildren, Tiffanie, Britni, Blake, Brayden, Alexus, Aubree, Ella and Autumn; 2 great-grandchildren, John and Kasey; sister, Ann Anderson of Stephens City, VA; brother, Kenny Anderson (Ruby) of Stephenson, VA and his canine companion, Fred.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Ralph, Donnie, Bobby and Jerry Anderson.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Wayne on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm with a service to be conducted at 6pm held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
