I remember Wayne from our days at Va Tech 1950- 1954. We were in Squadron A together and I don't know where it came from but we called him Moodles. I have fond memories of those days and will always remember Moodles as a friend.

Uncle Wayne had such a way with stories and was always so warm and welcoming whenever we visited. I so enjoyed every moment I ever spent with him. He could always make me laugh and always, always reminded me of the importance of family. He was very, very dear in my heart and I shall miss him dearly.... Lisa Aumiller

We were so sorry to hear about Uncle Wayne's passing. Immediately, Craig and I began to reminisce of what a wonderful man he was, and the love he brought to our family. Uncle Wayne in my eyes, was always like a Patriarch of our family, heading up the family reunions, and making sure to inspire, and connect our growing families. We will greatly miss his wonderful sense of humor, his enthusiastic personality, and kind, gentle heart. Aunt Jean you and the family are in our thoughts and prayers. Lesley, Craig Finley, Graysen & Courtlyn
