Vivian Delores Stump “Bibby”, 85, of Winchester, Virginia passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Evergreen Health and Rehab Center.
Ms. Stump was born in 1932 in Baker, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Curtis and Elva Keller. She retired from VDO Argo Instruments. Ms. Stump enjoyed watching wrestling, gardening, playing Bingo and cards.
Surviving is a daughter, Sheree Y. Higgins (Russell) of Emerald Isle, North Carolina and a son, Donald L. Stump, Sr. (Linda) of Stephens City, Virginia; grandchildren, Donald L. “Skip” Stump, Jr. (Rachelle) of Frederick County, Virginia; Crickett Higgins of Emerald Isle, North Carolina, Amanda and Hollie Higgins, both of Fredrick County, Virginia, Jason and Justin (Melissa) Haines of Frederick County, Virginia; six great grandchildren; sisters, Judy Bauserman (Steve) and Sharon Lowe (Jack) of Frederick County, Virginia; and brothers, Herman “Sonny” Keller (Shelby) and Roger Keller of Frederick County, Virginia.
Ms. Stump was preceded in death by sister, June Hoover and her husband, Victor; sister-in-law, Barbara Keller.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 am on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Dickie Helm officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Baker, West Virginia.
Serving as pallbearers will be Russ Higgins, Skip Stump, David Brooks, Bill Peer, Steve Bauserman, and Jack Lowe.
