Virginia W. Metcalf, 94, of Stephens City, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Evergreen Health and Rehab.

Virginia was born in 1927 in Durham, North Carolina, the daughter of The Late Isaac Whitaker and Maude Strayhorn. She graduated high school and then became a homemaker, caring for her husband and three children.

Along with her parents, Ms. Metcalf was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Davis Metcalf in 2010 and her son, Clifton Metcalf.

She is survived by her son, Douglas Metcalf (Vicki) of Stephens City, Virginia; her daughter, Kay Foxx (Jimmy) of Wilson, North Carolina; her daughter-in-law, Nancy; seven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Inurnment will be at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
