Vincent “Vince” P. Legare, Jr., 57, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away Friday, August 31, 2018, at his home.
Vince was born in 1960 in Fort Meade, Maryland, the son of Colleen and Vincent Legare, Sr. He was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School and a real estate associate with NextHome Realty Select. Vince enjoyed playing the guitar, home renovations, and was an avid Redskins fan. He also enjoyed biking, boating, and 4-wheeling. Vince was a big movie buff and a fan of the TV show, COPS. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and fun loving personality. Vince was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Stephens City, Virginia.
He married Tracey Gregory on July 20, 1991 in Stephens City, Virginia.
Surviving with his parents and wife are daughters, Nicole Legare and Amy King (Andy); son, Vincent Legare, III; sisters, Gisele Legare (George) and Dorothy Legare (Thomas); brothers, Eugene Legare (Diana) and Joseph Legare (Sunda); and many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stephens City, Virginia with Pastor George Sims officiating. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 12 pm on Saturday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Reverend Bjorn Lundberg officiating. A fellowship luncheon will follow the mass at the church. Interment will be in Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery, Frederick County, Virginia.
