Jess Evans left a message on May 8, 2020:
My heartfelt condolences to all Vince's family.I just came across this sad news today searching for friends I had lost contact with. My name is Jess Evans & I met Vince when his family moved to Bowie Maryland, the first day he attended Belair Jr. High school we found out that we shared the love for music, that first day be brought his guitar and amp over my house and we jammed( I played the drums) we developed and immediate friendship for several years, attended countless rock concerts, went camping, biking, swimming and hiking and eventually started a small band with him , his older sister and some other friends he made when their family moved to the community of Old Mill, Maryland. I have always remembered how nice his parents were and how much fun he shared with his brothers and sisters, such a wonderful family.Vince was the funniest guy I ever met, a true personality with all the qualities that come from such a loving family. So many memories. Again so very sorry to hear this news. Jess .

We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Vincent P. Legare, Jr. During the last decade, through the eyes of his mom and dad, hearing their words, seeing pictures, and videos, from over a period of a half century, we were able to vicariously experience Vin growing up, along with his two brothers and two sisters from a little kid to a loving father of three wonderful children. Looking at 50 years of multi-generational family visits, holidays, pictures of Vin with his two brothers, Vin with a parrot, Vin with a Kaola bear. I was thinking, what a lucky guy who had parents that could give Vin, jr. Australia, one of my absolute favorite countries to visit. He enjoyed his time living there, going to school, and experiencing many adventures exploring the wonders of Australia as a youth. Vin, jr. clearly inherited his musical talent from his parents. I wish I could play the guitar like that! Over the years we would hear from his mom and dad that they had dinner together, or they had other siblings visiting that Vin could join to create a mini-reunion. It was nice that he lived nearby so they could socialize together. Such opportunities are precious beyond measure. We actually had the opportunity to meet Vin, jr. What a delight it was to meet a legend! Now he is gone. We have our love, our memories, photos and videos. We cherish those wonderful happy times. We have many recollections to bring a smile to our faces whenever we want. May the soul of Vincent P. Legare, Jr. Rest in Peace.
