Vincent C. Lane, 87 of Stephenson, VA, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.
Vincent was born in New York City, NY, the son of the late Marion Lane. He was a high school graduate who proudly served our country in the United States Coast Guard. Vincent retired in 1999 as an inspector for Con Edison in NYC. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Staten Island, NY and Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Winchester.
He married Elizabeth Cayton in October of 1980 in Staten Island, NY and she preceded him in death on May 15, 2009.
Vincent is survived by his stepchildren, Ronald Cayton, Barbara Cayton, Catherine Gargulio (Anthony) and grandchildren, Anthony, Carissa, Elizabeth, and Vincent.
In addition to his father and wife, Vincent is preceded in death by his brothers, Norman, and David Lane and stepdaughter, Carolyn Cayton.
Services for Vincent will be private.
