Victoria Roman Schreck, 91, died February 20th at her home, surrounded by her family.
Vickie was born in Maniago, Italy in 1932 and then immigrated to the US at age 4 with her family. She took pride in her job at the U.S. Department of the Interior as a statistical analyst until staying home to take care of her two children and maintain a perfect home. Vickie was a kind and loving woman who lived to take care of her family. As that family grew, her grandchildren became the light of her life.
Vickie was preceded in death by her husband Albert Schreck and her grandson Nicholas Freeman.
She is survived by her brother Serge Roman (wife: Joan Roman), her two daughters Susan Aston (husband: Rick Aston, children: George Aston and Brooke Aston) and Linda Freeman (children: Taylor Freeman and Lane Freeman).
A visitation will be held at Omps Funeral Home on Amherst Street in Winchester, VA on Saturday March 2nd at 10 am with a service to follow at 11am. Officiating will be Deacon Mark Maines.
