Vicky Lewis was one of our original Film Club members back when it was in its infancy at the Winchester Book Gallery. She was a champion of what we were doing, combining our community with cinema. She always provided such intelligent insight with whip-smart observations and that classic Vicky opinion. She encouraged others to get involved and helped truly build the foundation to what we have today. Last September I had some filmmakers visiting and we ran into Vicky at West Oaks Farm Market. She sat down, and chatted with them about our history and made these outsiders feel at home. It was a moment I will cherish for a very long time. All of us at Winchester Film Club are going to miss you Vicky, especially me.

When we were on a cruise, I asked Vicky to sing karaoke with me. She declined. I asked her to video me. Later, when I watched the video, I could not hear myself sing because she was singing right into the mic on the camera. We laughed a lot about that. Loved having her in the Harper family. Will always miss her but so glad we have Opal to remind us of her vibrant personality.
