Victor M. Cintron
Reverend Victor Manuel Cintron, 74, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Monday, January 4, 2010, in his home.
Rev. Cintron was born in 1935, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Juan Cintron and Maria Torres. He was a steel maker in Auburn, New York and was a Pastor in the ministry for more than 30 years .
He married Donna Lee Hollenbeck on July 17, 1971, in Pomfret, Connecticut.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Rebecca Cintron of Falling Waters, West Virginia, Cherie Cintron of Winchester, Virginia; sons, Victor Cintron, Jr. of Kissimmee, Florida, Jonathan Cintron and Timothy Cintron both of Winchester, Virginia; five grandchildren, Victor Cintron III, Richard Cintron, Olivia Cintron, Lucas Cintron and Destiny Cintron; four great grandchildren; his sister, Milagro Ramirez of Carolina, Puerto Rico; and brother, Nestor Cintron of Bethel, Pennsylvania.
One son, Joshua Cintron, a sister, Esther Cintron and two brothers, Francisco ”Paco” Figueroa and Papo Cintron preceded him in death.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Reverend Nestor Cintron officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.
The family will receive friends on Friday, prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
