Tyson Lee Brown, 47, went to be with our Heavenly Father on August 24, 2023, surrounded by his friends and family.
Tyson was born on January 16, 1976, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Willie C. and Cynthia Brown of Clear Brook, Virginia. He was a dedicated and loyal employee of Southeastern Containers Inc. in Winchester.
Tyson leaves behind his beloved wife of 17 years, Stephanie Wheeler Brown of Winchester; two sons Eric Wheeler of Winchester and Mark Wheeler of Clear Brook; and two grandchildren Sky and Isais.
He leaves to cherish in addition to his parents, wife, two sons, and grandchildren; his grandmother Geraldine Brown of Williamston, North Carolina; brother Rodney D. Brown (Stephanie) of Winchester; “little brother” Lee Myers (Mary) of Bunker Hill; “little sis” Twana Myers of Winchester; “big sis” Donna Buchanon of Orlando, Florida; his nieces and nephew Mariah, Briannah, Jaden, Jamya, and Jeremy; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and family.
Tyson was preceded in death by his brother Jeremy Lee Brown, Sr.; maternal grandparents Roscoe and Frances Myers; and his paternal grandparents Flora Alleyne and Willie C. Brown, Sr.
He was known to be none other than a family man, who never met a stranger that he wouldn’t help. Known to often say “Let’s get one”. An avid Redskins fan who enjoyed cars, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his parents, grandchildren, friends, and family.
A visitation will be held for Tyson on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 6pm to 8pm with a service the following day, Friday, September 1, 2023, at 11am all held at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.
