Tyler “Bubba” R. Comer

Tyler Richard Comer, 13, of Clearbrook, Virginia died Sunday, March 4, 2012 in the Winchester Medical Center.

Tyler was born in 1998 in Winchester, Virginia the son of Tracy Comer and Richard Poore. He was a student at James Wood Middle School, attended Winchester Church of God. Tyler was a loving and gentle soul who will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He was devoted to being a big brother to his little sister Keiara, and was always there for all of his many cousins. Bubba was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed being in the great outdoors.

Surviving with his parents is a sister, Keiara Doleman; his maternal grandmother, Joyce Comer; two aunts, Crystal Glass and husband, Jonathon of Winchester, and Tina Lafollette and husband, Troy of Clearbrook, VA, and an uncle, Wayne Comer, Jr. and wife, Rachelle, also of Clearbrook.

Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wayne Comer, Sr.; maternal great-grandfather, James Easterday, Sr.; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Easterday.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Pastor Darrell Waller officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM

Memorial contributions for Tyler may be made to Omps Funeral Home, 1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602
