Tommy Arnold Rohrer
Tommy Arnold Rohrer, 73, of Middletown, Virginia, died Sunday, August 4, 2013 in his home.
Mr. Rohrer was born in 1940, in Clarksville, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Charles R. and Opal C. Rohrer. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Rohrer was employed at Pepco retiring in 1995. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Middletown. Tommy was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He was an infamous communicator and loved spending time on the golf course.
Surviving is his daughter, Nichole Rohrer-Bassingthwaite and husband, Jason, of Alexandria, Virginia; two granddaughters, Sophia and Olivia; three sisters, Gloria McKee of Greensboro, Pennsylvania, Dorothy Reaney and husband, Edward, of Baltimore, Maryland, Barbara Summers and husband, Ben, of West Chester, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Richard Rohrer and wife, Mary Carol, of Mather, Pennsylvania, and Terry Arnold Rohrer of New York. Three brothers, Donald, James and Glenn Rohrer, preceded him in death.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, August 9, 2013, at the Grace United Methodist Church, Middletown, Virginia, with Reverend Thomas Keithley officiating. Military honors will be afforded by V.F.W. Post 2123.
