Timmy E. Rhodes, Sr.

Timmy Eugene Rhodes, Sr. 44, of Clearbrook, Virginia, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012.

Mr. Rhodes was born in 1968, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Fred Eugene Rhodes and the late Gale Rhodes-Alexander. He was a Pest Control Technician with Pest Management Services, Inc. in Manassas, Virginia. Mr. Rhodes loved Drag Racing and was a member of the NHRA. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his granddaughter, Skylar.

He married Amy Belford on May 18, 1993, in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving with his wife are two sons, Timmy Eugene Rhodes, Jr., and fiancé, Carena Ross and Tyler Ray Rhodes, all of Clearbrook; granddaughter, Skylar Rae Rhodes, sister, Deanna Wright and husband, Allen, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, Shannon Rhodes and her partner, Mike Hillyard, of Winchester; and 12 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Randolph Rhodes, Sr. in 2009.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 3:00-5:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, 1600 Amherst Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
