Tim Shaw, 80 of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Cambridge Landing in Strasburg.

Tim was born in 1945 in Fairmont, WV, the son of the late Ralph Shaw and the late Rhoda Ping. He was a graduate of Morgantown High School, Class of 1963 and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in accounting from West Virginia University. Tim worked as a CPA and then went on to become the owner of Hunter General Contracting. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and listening to the Eagles and Carol King. Tim was all about working, something he enjoyed with his best friend and partner, Clarke Seals.

He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Dobratz (Jeff) of Frederick, MD; sons, Mike Shaw (Terri Lynn) of Morgantown, WV, Matt Shaw (Sonia) of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Justin Dobratz (Oksana) of Thurmont, MD, Julie Dobratz of Baltimore, MD, Adam Shaw of Morgantown, WV, Kyle Shaw of Morgantown, WV, and Hunter Shaw of Winchester, VA; and his sister, Carroll Whitney of Raleigh, NC.

In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his girlfriend, Vickie Nisewarner, and his brother, Mike Shaw.

Services for Tim will be private.
