This morning as I sit and meditate on Earl’s life, I think about all the joy he brought to his family and friends. He had the gift to relate through listening and sharing stories. I will miss his smile. He rests in God’s hands now. Perhaps angels are singing “Well done thy good and faithful servant!”
Deborah Shanks left a message on February 27, 2021:
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Earl(Ms. Janet) in August 2019. I saw them every week, sometimes a few times a week. I've had the pleasure of hearing some of the grand stories. He was very believable. For instance one day he told me he left the garage door down because a circus truck from PA had turned over on 81 and there were loose tigers and leopards running around. Needless to say I believed it. I looked on the internet for several days later to verify but never saw anything! He always had me going! Like he would call me Momma Bear, and one day I went to the bank he had signed my check; M.B. Shanks. Once I realized it, I could only laugh. I'll miss him dearly and our weekly talks. Rest in peace Mr. Earl.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
