Thomas D. “Tommy” Crenshaw, Sr.
Thomas “Tommy” Dibrell Crenshaw, Sr., 69, of Winchester, Virginia, died Friday, August 30, 2013, in Frederick County, Virginia.
Mr. Crenshaw was born in 1944, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of the late Richard D. and Jane G. Crenshaw. He attended Fork Union Military Academy and Handley High School, Class of 1962. Mr. Crenshaw lived in West Palm Beach, Florida, prior to moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1983. He worked in the Security Department at Bally’s Hotel/Casino until 2001, then returning to Winchester where he was employed by Lincare, Inc., as a Homecare Assistant. Mr. Crenshaw enjoyed photography and loved being in the outdoors.
Surviving are three sons, Robbie Danley and wife, Tara, of North Fort Myers, Florida, Thomas D. Crenshaw, Jr. and wife, Dawn, and Peter S. Crenshaw all of Las Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren, Carl Danley, Christopher Danley, Victoria Crenshaw, Connor Danley, Chloe Crenshaw and Violet Crenshaw; brothers, John C. Crenshaw of Winchester, Virginia, Richard D. Crenshaw of York, Pennsylvania and his former wives, Barbara C. Eberhart, of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Diane S. Crenshaw, of Las Vegas, Nevada.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 6:00 PM on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Joseph Dilleree, funeral celebrant, officiating the service.
