Therese Weismann Foster

Therese Weismann Foster, 80, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Foster was born in 1929 in Schleiftor, Marklherdenfeld, Germany. She retired as a seamstress.

Her husband, Edward James Foster, whom she married on March 24, 1954, preceded her in death in 1994.

Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Ann Burke and Elizabeth Gordon, both of Front Royal, Virginia; three sons, Robert Foster of Brookfield, Massachusetts, George Foster and Timothy Foster, both of Front Royal, Virginia; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and her first cousin, Ingeborg Altland of Pennsylvania. A son, Elmer Foster, preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Pastor John Burke officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Foster, Robert Foster, George Foster, Wayne Burke, Phillip Pullen, David Pullen, and Kurt Kohn.

The family will receive friends from Noon til 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
