My Aunt Thelma is one of the biggest influencers in my life. From playing football, to playing trumpet to chewing cinnamon gum. She was truely a second Mom to James, Linda and I. One thing I will always remember is that my Aunt Thelma was my biggest fan cheering me on from little league to my first job offer. I always wanted to make her proud, that was my way of showing my love to her. Before she passed, I remember praying by her side and seeing an overwhelming beautiful smile on her face as she entered the gates of heaven. I will cherish that moment and memory everyday. I can honestly say that today I would only be half the man I am without her. Everyone needs a cheerleader in life to be successful. Luckly I had the Best who motivate me to be Great and her name is Aunt Thelma! Thank you for Always being there and Always being my #1 Fan. I love you and I promise I will continue making you proud!
