Teresa “Terry” Bowen

Teresa “Terry” Eleanor Bowen, 60, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on January 9, 2019 in Florida.

Terry was born in 1958 in New York City, New York, the daughter of Arlene Caroline Bowen and the late Donald M. Bowen. She attended Handley High School and was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church. Terry loved her family, socializing with her friends, and helping with babies and young children.

In addition to her mother, Terry is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Arlene Bowen of Stephenson, Virginia; a son, Christopher Ryan Bowen of Clear Brook, Virginia; a sister, Patricia “Patty” Anne Bowen of Winchester, Virginia; and two brothers, Donald Morgan Bowen, Jr. and Randy Michael Bowen, both of Winchester, Virginia.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Omps, South Chapel and on Thursday from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Open Door Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 am at Open Door Baptist Church, with Pastor David Hartley officiating. Interment will be at Open Door Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Terry’s memory to Open Door Baptist Church, 333 Jeremiah Lane, Clear Brook, VA 22624.
