Teresa “Terri” Lynn Dovell Montgomery, 58, of Stephens City, Virginia, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Mrs. Montgomery was born in 1964, in Washington DC, the daughter of JoAnne Gentry and the late Edward Randolph Dovell, Jr. She was a homemaker.

Teresa married Joseph Montgomery on February 20 1996, in Winchester, Virginia.

Terri was such a special person with a beautiful heart, always thinking of others. Terri had a love for all things nature, especially hummingbirds. She enjoyed collecting trinkets and displaying them around her home.

Anyone who knew Terri, knew that she was an animal lover. She especially loved her pups. She leaves behind her sweet blue eyed girl, Luna.

Terri will be truly missed by all who loved her.

Surviving with her husband and mother, of Woodstock, VA, is her son, Nick Leypoldt of Strasburg, VA; grandson, Noah Leypoldt; sisters, Keisha Logan of Woodstock, VA, Stacey Hough of Clear Brook, VA, Lynn Fees of Nokesville, VA, Denise Delozier of Nashville, TN, GG Bauer of Berryville, VA and her brother, Phillip Gentry, Jr. of Fredericksburg, VA.

A private burial will be held at a later date.

Joe I'm so sorry for to hear this you and your family are in my prayers.

Terri, I wish we had been able to spend more time together growing up ... and I just can't believe you aren't here anymore, now! This can't be real. You and I never had a single negative moment between us and I've always seen you as one of the most gentle, kind and sensitive souls to grace this world. I know you had your share of tough times, but your heart was always tender, despite that. I will miss your smile, your laughter, the way you were always dancing around in the room at our family gatherings and the way you always made it a point to make everyone feel like they really mattered to you.
