My deepest condolences to the family. Susan was an incredible woman and friend. I had the pleasure of working with her for a couple of years and became friends. She always had a smile, a kind word and when needed something to make you laugh as she caught you off guard. She helped so many people and will always be remembered by all of us!

My childhood memories are filled with Leslie and her family, I am saddened to hear about your Mom passing. She took care of my father inlaw several times at the hospital. And it was like forever ago I got to talk to her. I hope you all find the strength needed to get you threw the days ahead.

I worked with Susan for 21 years. She never failed to seek me out for a chat when she had patients on my floor. She was genuinely interested in the welfare of my family and me. She would update me on her children for whom she had much love and pride. We'd commiserate over our frustrations with our spouses who were good friends and devilish cohorts. She was a good and loyal friend who always had time for others. Her kindness to everyone she met was boundless. Condolences to all her family. I can't imagine the void you must feel due to losing her.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I remember Sue fondly from our shifts together when I worked in the old pulmonary ICU at WMC. She was always cheerful, uncomplaining and eager to help. I was saddened to see her picture and read of her passing. If you ever worked with her, you’ll never forget her.

My deepest deepest condolences to Susan‘s family. What a shock today when I read her obituary in the paper, it made me feel so sad. Susan was a special caring person who was always ready to help in a crisis when we worked together at the hospital. Our fathers were both ill at the same time and passed within a short period of each other. Susan always made a point to come to my floor to see how I was doing when she herself was experiencing the same grief. She was such a good listener. I will never forget her.

So sorry for your loss!! I am so deeply sad to hear of Susan’s passing. I spent many a shift working with her on Pediatrics. She was truly the best of the best Respiratory Therapists, and even though I often referred to her as “The Omen” ( her being on the schedule most certainly meant we would be slammed with admissions), I loved her so much! RIP Susan, until we meet again! ❤️
