Dear Celeste and Family; I was unable to make it to Steve's service this week but wanted to make sure I reached out to you. I met Steve in school many years ago when he first moved here. At that moment and onward, we became buddies as we continued to grow up together in school and throughout the years. I'll forever hold dear his painstakingly trying to explain to me how jets fly and his patience as I continued to ask many questions. Steve was a good friend and a wonderful human being. I can't imagine your loss. With deepest sympathy, Susie Duane

This one hit hard. Steve and I spent time as former teammates, went exploring on motorcycles, helped him at race tracks, went shooting and of course, eating at fine establishments. Steve was able to see and do so many things and recover from things most of us will never see or endure. Through all of his accomplishments, I know he was most proud of his family and spoke of them often when we were together. With a heavy heart, I’m traveling and will not be able to attend his services. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends, we’re going to miss the legendary TripleX. Much love, peace.

Dear Celeste, Brian & Abby, Darren, and Michelle: My heart goes out to you all and your whole family as I hear about Steve's passing last week. He was definitely "larger than life," and it sad to think that his health did not allow him to live a long and pain-free life. His love for you was immense - may it transcend all time and space. Prayers for lots of love and support during this very sad and difficult time. I give God thanks for "Triple X" Love, Terrie Sternberg
