Steven Craig “Steve” Reynolds, 64, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

Steve was born on December 25, 1961, in Washington, D.C., to the late Gordon Ray Reynolds, Sr. and Irene Elizabeth (Hays) Reynolds. He dedicated 35 years of service as a manager with Capitol Building Supply before his passing.

Steve was a former member of the Ruritan. He loved nothing more than heading out on charter trips for ocean fishing, enjoying a good blue crab feast, riding his Harley-Davidson, and cheering on the Raiders and his favorite NASCAR drivers, Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr.

On June 20, 2015, Steve married the love of his life, Pamela Jean (Shanholtz) Reynolds, in Stephens City, Virginia, who survives him.

In addition to his wife, Steve is survived by his step-sons, Travis Plaugher (Britney) of Star Tannery, VA, Daniel Plaugher (Lexi) of Delray, WV, and Noah Plaugher of Inwood, WV; his step-grandchildren, Laylin Plaugher and Clara Mae Plaugher, both of Star Tannery, VA; his sister, Linda Marsh of Front Royal, VA; and his sister-in-law, Donna Reynolds of Front Royal, VA.

Along with his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Gordon Ray Reynolds, Jr., and his sister, Carolyn Sherman.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
