Stephen Henry Clark, Jr., 76, of Front Royal, Virginia, died Sunday, July 13, 2014, in Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Virginia.

Mr. Clark was born in 1937, in Browntown, Virginia, the son of Stephen H. and Alice Joy Clark, Sr. He was a graduate of Warren County High School, Class of 1956 and attended United Electronics Laboratories in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Clark was a veteran having served in the United States Air National Guard of West Virginia. He was an Electronic Technician retiring from Sperry Marine Systems in 1990. Mr. Clark was a member of the Front Royal Moose Club, enjoyed hunting and fishing, college sports and was an avid outdoorsman.

Surviving is his daughter, Debra Clark Skirvin and husband, David of Gwynn, Virginia; son, Daniel W. Clark of Stephens City, Virginia; grandchildren, Kenneth Clark Skirvin, Carmen Victoria Skirvin, Daniel Christopher Skirvin, Audrey and Adrianne Cather; brothers, Ray Nelson Clark and wife, Patricia, of Browntown, Virginia and Robert Wayne Clark of Front Royal, Virginia.

Two sisters, Betty Jean Paige and Doris Stephana Hurwitz, preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 PM on Saturday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Funeral Celebrant Joseph R. Dilleree officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2654 Valley Avenue, Suite B, Winchester, Virginia 22601.

Great Uncle Junior- I remember times we all gathered at Great Grandma Alice's house. I remember being so young and small and so much going on around me. I remember eating home cooked meals so delicious I can still smell the aroma. I remember you and all our family together. I don't remember a whole lot of interaction between us, but I know you were there enjoying yourself. I often think of those times now that I'm older. I wish I knew you better as I see how much love for you is shared amongst the remaining family. I hope that I will join you one day and have as many people show as much love for my passing.
