Shirley Joan “Jo” Noyer

Jo Noyer died December 22, 2012 at the Winchester Medical Center. She was a resident of Spring Arbor since 2011 and of Winchester since 1989.

Jo was born with her twin brother, Bob, in Lima, OH in 1925 to Ralph and Thelma Brown. While studying at Purdue University she met and married Bob Noyer. Jo and Bob celebrated 62 years together until his death in 2007. She loved art, literature, and especially poetry.

Left to mourn her are their children: Nancy (Pete) of Coralville, IA, Barbara (Ron) of Arlington, Susan (David) of Winchester, Jean (Robert) of Sterling, and Rolf (Ricardo) of Philadelphia,

PA.

Jo was rich in granddaughters: Genevieve, Joanna, Christina and Alaina. Her beloved twin brother, Bob (Alta), lives in Alton, IL.

Jo was predeceased by her loving husband, her special sister-in-law, Betty Van Duyn, and her younger brother, Jim.

Per Jo’s wishes, no services are planned. Omps Funeral Home is in charge of her arrangements.
