Sherry D. Huckabay

         Sherry Darlene Males Huckabay, 67, of Winchester, Virginia, died Sunday, October 26, 2014, in UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville, Virginia.

Mrs. Huckabay was born in 1947, in Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Jesse L. and Edith J. Males.  She was a graduate of Butner High School in Cromwell, Oklahoma.  Mrs. Huckabay was an Operations Manager with Wave2Net and formerly, a branch office administrator with Edward Jones.  She was a member of Winchester Church of God.

She married Manuel Huckabay on February 17, 1977, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death on June 15, 1996.

Surviving are two daughters, Shelley Worrell and husband, Rudy, and Kelly Seekford, all of Winchester; son, Shannon Sharp and wife, Devra, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jared Seekford, Tristen Sharp, Alysandra Worrell, Justin Sharp, Jensyn Worrell, Reilynd Worrell and Emeryce Worrell and brother, Ron Males and wife, Cynthia, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, on Thursday at Winchester Church of God with Reverend Darrell Waller officiating.  Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Jared Seekford, Ryan Lambert, Howard Hausenfluck, Rudy Worrell, Milton Johnson and J.R. Seekford.
