Donna Koper left a message on July 6, 2011:
My mother (Gertrude Payne) and I used to occasionally sit with Sharon and her siblings when her parents wanted an evening out. I have not seen any of them for many years, but often remember what good children they were. I was very saddened when I learned of her illness and passing. My deepest condolences and sympathies to all of her family -- I know she will be greatly missed. But know that she is no longer suffering and now in a much better place with her heavenly father. She will now be a Guardian Angel to her children and the rest of her family, and one day we will all be together again.

Sharon was one of my classmates throughout our school days. Our band had the opportunity to march at DisneyLand in our Senior year, To pay for the trip we made sub sandwiches every Saturday morning to sell. One saturday morning I accidently dropped the sub that I was working onto the floor. Sharon saw this and started laughing. Her words to me were " glad that one is going to be the one you pay for".and then she burst out laughing. I will never forget that senario just like I know that she is smiling down from the heavens and probably laughing because I am writting this. Rest in Peace Sharon. I love you Girl.
