Sarah C. Bayliss
Sarah Campbell Bayliss, 79, of Winchester, VA, died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.
Mrs. Bayliss was born in 1931 in Geneva County, Alabama, the daughter of the late John D. and Susie B. Campbell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
She married Carl Eugene Bayliss on February 2, 1952 in Coffee Springs, AL.
Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Cindy Frame and her husband, Ronnie, of Browntown, VA and Pam Webber and her husband, Jeff, of Winchester, VA; a son, Carl Bayliss II and his wife, Sandra, of Stephens City, VA; five grandchildren; one great grandchild, and a sister, Mary Smith and her husband, Richard, of Coffee Springs, AL. She was one of eight children, and was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, 116 South Loudoun Street, with Reverend Dr. Richard Reifsnyder officiating. Private interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM.
