Sandra Sherman-Barboza, 59 of Martinsburg, WV passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center.

Sandy was born in 1962 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Robert and Clara (Brynan) Sherman. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Stockton University, formerly Stockton College and worked as a computer programmer before pivoting into education. Sandy loved reading, craft fairs and science fiction. She had a love for gymnastics and participated when she was younger, she worked to pay for her classes and when older became an avid watcher. Sandy loved to laugh and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by her daughter, Kerry Holcomb (Jonathan) and son, Kevin Barboza; grandchildren, Stephen and Caleb Holcomb; sisters, Laura Young, Carol Sherman and brother Robert Sherman.

Services for Sandy will be private.
