Salvatore “Sal” Joseph SanFilippo, 80, of Winchester, VA passed away October 14, 2024, at the Winchester Medical Center surrounded by family. He was born May 18, 1944, in New Hartford, New York the son of the late Peter and Grace Granato SanFilippo.

Sal was owner/operator MAD Flooring Installers, and he was also a car enthusiast and loved watching Western movies and the NASCAR races. He was a Buffalo Bills fan, enjoyed going out to eat especially to Cracker Barrel and he was mischievous with a great sense of humor. Above all else he was a very proud father and grandfather.

He is survived by his Loving Companion of 24 years Shirley Allison; four sons Michael A. SanFilippo (Loretta Meola), Anthony J. SanFilippo (Amy), Dominick J. SanFilippo (Tina) and Vyncenzo G. SanFilippo; grandchildren Anthony Meola (Alyssa), Frank Meola, Shelby Nelson (Dr. Mark), Brady SanFilippo (Daniella), Dakota SanFilippo (Leanne), Chaz SanFilippo, Tayla SanFilippo, Ryleigh SanFilippo, Graycin SanFilippo, Shawn Foy, Gabriella Garcia, Vanessa Garcia, Hailey Snapp, Abraham Garcia, Landon Snapp and Jaxson Snapp; great grandchildren William Nelson, Luke Nelson and Wyatt Swafford; and his step children Christy Snapp, Jennifer Garcia and Joseph Allen Snapp.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in New York.
