Ruth and I shared so many good times together. As friends for over 50 years there was so many things we did together, bottle hunting, cooking, baby sitting, shopping, lunch dates, hair appointments, trip to Florida, just to name a few. She was a true friend and I will miss her greatly.

...for Ruth's Family, .....we fondly remember Ruth thru' Romney High School......she was quite an athlete!! Also, I remember being invited to her 11th or 12th birthday party...we got there and her Mother didn't know anything about a party...but her Mom got some refreshments together and we had a good time!! My husband recalls Ruth and her mother coming to his farm and visiting his parents, Foss and Dot Parker... Dot thought it was so nice that Roger had someone to play with.....but he didn't much like the idea of playing with a GIRL! It's so sad that we only hear of our friends of long ago thru- the obits...but we wanted to tell Ruth's family that we remember Ruth and we will be thinking of you.....God Bless Roger and JoAnn(Freeland) Parker

Mr. and Mrs. Parker, Thank you for sharing your condolences with us. Mom would relate stories often about her childhood. Mom was proud of her alma mater, Romney High School. She enjoyed attending the reunions and reconnecting with school chums. Thank you for your kind thoughts Lydia Marshall
