Mr. Rumsey Crouse, Sr., of Cross Junction, Virginia, died December 24, 2017, at his residence.

Mr. Crouse was born in Berkeley Springs, WV, in 1942, the son of the late Harry and Goldie Crouse. He was retired from BFI Waste Services where he was employed as a truck driver. He was a former member of the Berkeley Springs Moose Lodge.

He married Anna May Crouse in 1964 and she preceded him in death on February 20, 2006.

He is survived by two sons, Robert John Crouse (Tammy) of Berkeley Springs, WV, and Rumsey Crouse, Jr. (Donna) of Cross Junction, VA; 3 grandchildren, Rumsey Lee Crouse, Shawn Robert Crouse and Jennifer Moreland, 7 step grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his sisters, Edna Crouse and Suzann Crouse of Cross Junction, VA, and Jeanie Crouse and Mildred Miller of Capon Bridge, WV, a brother, Rich Crouse of Cross Junction, VA, a sister, Clarie Mason, and three brothers, Lloyd Crouse, David Crouse and Ernest Crouse are deceased.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 29, 2017, from 5-7 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. A funeral will be conducted on Friday following the visitation at 7:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
