Ruby Lou Scott, 44, of Frederick County, Virginia, went to be the Lord on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at her home.

Ms. Scott was born in 1966, in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Milas and Cora Lee Brantley.

Surviving is her daughter, Cynthia Michella, her companion of 13 years, Forest S. Deavers of Frederick County, Virginia; four brothers, Vernon, Bruce, Jimmy and Jerry Brantley; four sisters, Mary Wilder, Beverly Wilder, Helen Richardson and Debbie Brantley all of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Pastor Steve Wymer and Pastor Ken Smith officiating. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
