If you look up the meaning of the name Ruby, it would say (A Precious Gem). That is exactly the way I will remember Ruby--A Precious Gem.

Saunders Family: I was saddened to hear of your loss, and realize many people have lost a blessing from God. I am praying for you all during this very difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know that you have so many wonderful memories of Ruby that you will cherish forever. Ruby was a great lady. She was funny and we all enjoyed hanging around her growing up. She always accepted people into her home. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Sharon L. Cook McKinney

I remember Ruby as one my mother's best friends. She was always full of spunk. She and Walter came to the Bluegrass Unlimited "packing parties", Mom's Christmas parties and the "Mountain House" gatherings. She and Walter helped at the Indian Springs Bluegrass Festival. They were always helping...always together. Nothing but good memories. She lived a life well-loved! - Ginger "Sam" Allred
