My Uncle Sam was always a good man who took my sister and me in to his home when our mom, his sister Catherine had to go to Washington to start a new job and establish a home for us. He and my Aunt Shirley treated us like family always. I loved him very much. He is with his beloved son and family now, and my mom joined him on 9/15/21.

My Uncle Sam was a very good man, he took care of my sister and I like we were his own children when my Mom moved to Washington DC to get a new life started. I appreciate the love him and my Aunt Shirley showed to us all through the years. Deborah Kay Jarvis Cheak

Dad, what I remember the first time I met you when I brought Steven home was your smile and your graciousness in opening your home to me. You always seemed happy to see me when I can to visit. You loved your wife and family very much and I enjoyed seeing you so happy at Thanksgiving and Christmas. You never lost your humor and never complained about your long illness and suffering. It brings me peace to know you are resting in heaven and I look forward to seeing you again in the Resurrection. Love you, Cathy

Roy lee Clark was a tremendous man of God who told me when I asked him if he would forgive me for all the junk I did to him in life. My dad stated to me, yes Steve I forgive you, do you know why? I stated I did not know why. My dad said because Jesus said if I forgive you for your sins Jesus will forgive me mine and my sins are many. What a great example of what and how our heavenly Father is in heaven waiting to forgive men their sins. Thank you dad for being there for me I love you and you will be missed. Love your son steven clark
