Uncle Roy was a good man. I remember when I was little and he had the place in Waterloo. Mom waited tables and dad pumped gas there. We used to stay upstairs at night and we would watch dad and Uncle Roy thru the window waiting on customers. Only to get up and see that big smile of Roys wishing you a good morning. God Speed Roy... What I remember about Roy Beatley. I remember working for him at waterloo Truck stop when i was a young boy he was one of the best bosses I ever worked for.I remember going up to shawnee land cutting up trees for Roy and Hazel.
