Roy A. Mills

            Roy Alan “Butch” Mills, age 58, of Clearbrook, Virginia, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013, in Johns Hopkins Medical Center.

Mr. Mills was born in 1954, in Confluence, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Roy Vance and Betty Mae Mills.  He was an equipment operator for the past 35 years, working at C.  W.  Wright Construction Company.  He was a loving and hard working husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all that knew him.

He married Linda Sue Davis in 1979, in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are his children, Tabatha Jenkins and husband, Brad, of Clearbrook, Virginia, Robert Lee Mills and Roy Allen Mills, Jr.  both of Clearbrook, Virginia; five grandchildren; and sisters, Romona Judy and husband Calvin, of Stephens City, Virginia, Patsy Ann Hetz and husband, Ronald, of Grantsville, Maryland, Flora Kay Mills and Karen Gail Gibbs and husband, Randy, all of Confluence, Pennsylvania, Roxanne Fram and husband, Tom, of Erie, Pennsylvania, and Nancy Ann Attaway of Uniontown, Pennsylvania; and a sister-in-law, Debbie Mills of Markleysburg, Pennsylvania.   His brother, Harold Pete Mills preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday evening at the funeral home, immediately following the visitation with Mr. Sheldon Judy officiating.
